Women in Leadership Network January 2023
We were delighted to host the first formal discussion and workshop of the Women in Leadership Network this week at our premises at the Plaza in Braintree. Facilitated by Susannah Frost, Chief Human Resources Officer for Fred. Olsen Limited, the meeting provided a valuable knowledge exchange for some of our region’s leading professionals with HR responsibilities.
Our first workshop focused on the twin challenges of recruitment and retention, and there was an insightful and astute exchange of knowledge and experience on benefits such as training and flexible working, as well as holidays and financial rewards.
Our own MD, Lorraine, provided a recruitment perspective as to what candidates are currently looking for, which inspired some of our members to raise awareness of their currently underpublicised existing benefits.
This first workshop delivered a wealth of shared experience and gave everyone some highly constructive approaches to explore, as well as plenty of food for thought.
Our next meeting will be in March and will address employee mental health and wellbeing.
