Our Managing Director, Lorraine Phair, first started the business in Chelmsford with a consultancy team of just 2. Since then, Lorraine has been instrumental in developing the company’s core values and growth.

Meet Lorraine Phair, Pursuit’s Managing Director
With over 30 years of experience in national recruitment, Lorraine brings unrivalled experience, expertise, and enthusiasm to the role of Managing Director.
Lorraine works hard with her team to ensure that they are in tune with her business ethos. The team therefore provides outstanding customer service based on quality, honesty and fairness. All staff members are encouraged to really get under the skin of the clients’ business. They also ensure they have a full understanding of the available role and its responsibilities.
Equally, Lorraine ensures candidates’ needs and desires are properly assessed and understood before suitable positions are sought. Lorraine remains hands-on for the full process of the recruitment journey, overseeing all successful ‘matches’ between companies and candidates.
Lorraine also gets involved with the local business community, and for 10 years was one of the judges for the Essex Business Excellence Awards.
